Teller Senior Coalition provided 1,179 hours to caregivers of homebound seniors by providing grant funds for respite time to give the caregivers relief from 24/7 responsibilities and to tend to their own needs. Grants were provided to individuals to pay for transportation, medical bills, and utility bills (heat, electricity and water) in emergency situations. A Teller Senior Coalition case manager monitors the eligibility and proper use of all grants by personal contact with the clients. There were 1,327 hours of case management counseling and 1,394 hours of homemaker services.
During 2025, 9,954 frozen and shelfstable meals were delivered to homebound seniors as part of the rural area meal program.
