The Rocky Mountain Fisher House Foundation had a great year in 2024. We were able to support our Fisher House with ongoing programs as well as completing new projects at the house such as remodeling a bathroom, purchasing a new glass tabletop for one of the dining room tables and purchasing large logo door mats in the front and back of the house. We also did a major cleaning effort and had all the tile floors and grout cleaned and fixed throughout the Fisher House. The BOD also voted to begin a flower delivery program, where a fresh flower arrangement will be delivered weekly to the Fisher House. The Foundation had a successful fundraising year and applied and received two large grants to assist with project goals in 2025 including more gift cards for guests and redoing all of the landscaping at the Fisher House.Gift Card Program: The Foundation provided $20K worth of gift cards to the guests at the Fisher House. These gift cards assist guests with unexpected purchases such as food, toiletry items, clothes, gas to drive home and more. Cable TV: The Foundation provides cable TV for all the 16 guestrooms as well as the living room in the house for guests to enjoy when theyre not at the hospital. Many families are dealing with end of life medical crisiss with their loved ones at the hospital and sometimes just being able to go back to their room and watch TV is helpful to just get their minds off of everything.Water Delivery: The Foundation provides weekly water delivery to the Fisher House. Dozens of bottled water is delivered for the guests at the house. The bottles make it easy for the guests to take it with them to the hospital.
