THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN RESERVE GROUP (RMRG) IS A RESERVE-SHARING GROUP COMPRISED OF NINE MEMBERS IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION. EACH MEMBER OWNS AND/OR OPERATES ELECTRIC GENERATION AND/OR TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS THAT ARE INTERCONNECTED TO ONE OR MORE OTHER MEMBER SYSTEMS. THE MEMBERS ARE OBLIGATED TO MAINTAIN DEFINED LEVELS OF RESERVES ON AN HOURLY BASIS AND COORDINATE RESERVE SHARING AND ACTIVATION WITHIN 15 MINUTES FOR UNANTICIPATED LOSS OF GENERATION AS WELL AS TO PROVIDE FOR EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE WHEN FIRM LOAD IS AT RISK. MEMBERSHIP IN THE RMRG ALLOWS MEMBERS TO SUPPLY AND PROTECT THEIR ELECTRIC SYSTEMS WITH LESS AGGREGATE OPERATING RESERVE CAPACITY THAN OTHERWISE WOULD BE NECESSARY. EMERGENCY CONDITIONS CAN BE MET WITH LESS LIKELIHOOD OF CURTAILMENT OR IMPAIRMENT OF ELECTRIC SERVICE. GENERATION AND TRANSMISSION FACILITIES AND INTERCONNECTIONS CAN BE USED MORE EFFICIENTLY. FORM 990, PART VI, LINE 4 THE GOVERNING DOCUMENTS WERE UPDATED TO ADDRESS THE DISSOLOUTION OF THE ORGANIZATION.
