Work on design of the Canyon Creek LoVa Trail section to install a pedestrian bridge over the Colorado River connecting to a trail through the CPW facility on the north side and a trail on an easement through the Nutrient Farms property on the south side. Worked with the Town of New Castle on execution of this $750,000 project funded by a $500,000 grant from Colorado Parks & Wildlife. Organized and attended multiple stakeholder meetings. Mediated site visits and design conferences with project land-owners CPW, Colorado Department of Transportation & Nutrient Farms. Supervised redesign projects with consulting engineer Schmueser Gordon Meyer (SGM). Provided regular project progress reports to partner organizations (Town of New Castle, City of Glenwood Springs, Roaring Fork Transportation Authority and Garfield County. Outcome- the project failed due to pandemic-caused delays and price escalation. The grant was returned to CPW and the project is on hold.

Meet Me In The Middle Project - Will build 700 linear feet of trail west from the existing LoVa Trail west toward South Canyon, entirely on CDOT Right of Way. Worked with the City of Glenwood Springs on the $1.42 million project, funded in part by a $700,000 grant from the Garfield County Federal Mineral Lease District (GCFMLD). Organized and attended multiple stakeholder meetings and provided regular project progress reports to partner organizations (Town of New Castle, City of Glenwood Springs, Roaring Fork Transportation Authority and Garfield County). Outcome- the project is under construction and slated for completion in summer 2023.
