Shines Lead Evangelist, Dr. Sammy Wanyonyi, regularly preached and taught in multiple congregations during weekend services and spoke at conferences across the nation. Shine continued to conduct evangelism training events and hosted citywide prayer and worship gatherings throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Estimated number of individuals impacted: 15,000. International: Shine conducted a major evangelism campaign in Ethiopia, including pastoral and evangelist training in Arba Minch. Through the Shine Arba Minch initiative, Shine trained 3,000 leaders; reached 350,000 individuals in person during the mission week; documented 25,000 decisions to follow Jesus Christ; planted multiple churches; and reached 20M individuals globally through multimedia broadcasts. Shine also maintained a strategic office in Nairobi, Kenya, through its subsidiary, Shine in the World FoundationKenya, serving as a regional hub to resource churches across Africa, the Middle East, and other regions on a need-by-need basis.
