TO PRESERVE THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT BY MANAGING AND OPERATING ECOLOGICALLY SIGNIFICANT UNDEVELOPED LAND, AND MAINTAINING THE LAND WITH LIMITED PUBLIC ACCESS IN ITS NATURAL STATE TO CONSERVE NATURAL RESOURCES FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
