THE BECKY BAKER FOUNDATION RESOURCE CENTER OFFERS FREE MONTHLY SHOPPING TO FAMILIES AFFECTED BY BREAST CANCER. THE STORE PROVIDES CLOTHING, SHOES, HOUSEHOLD GOODS, BABY ITEMS, AND PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS AT NO COST.THIS IS THE ONLY STORE OF ITS KIND IN THE NATION. OPEN TO ANYONE IMPACTED BY BREAST CANCER, REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEY LIVE, THE STORE WELCOMES SHOPPERS FROM PUEBLO, COLORADO SPRINGS, DENVER, AND BEYOND. THE SPACE IS GENEROUSLY DONATED BY THE PUEBLO MALL.THE ORGANIZATION HAS ALSO EARNED THE PLATINUM SEAL OF TRANSPARENCY FROM GUIDESTAR FOR SEVEN YEARS IN A ROW AND PARTNERS WITH THE UNITED BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION TO EXPAND ITS SERVICES.WITH RISING CANCER RATES IN PUEBLO COUNTY, INCLUDING AMONG WOMEN UNDER 50, THE NEED FOR THIS RESOURCE CONTINUES TO GROW. THE FOUNDATION LIGHTENS THE FINANCIAL BURDEN ON FAMILIES AND CREATES A SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND CARE WHEN IT IS NEEDED MOST.
