Mission

FUN is dedicated to ensuring that Arizona youth, especially those in rural communities, have a place to belong, a challenge that strengthens them, and a path toward a brighter future. FUN addresses childhood obesity, social isolation, and excessive screen time by providing free, school-based outdoor programs grounded in mentorship, accountability, and connection. We build lasting youth cycling ecosystems that include after-school clubs, out-of-school-time camps, physical education class partnerships, on-campus skills parks and trail development, and career pathways in bike mechanics, along with scholarships for alumni. We use the bicycle as a vehicle for confidence, resilience, and belonging. By removing barriers such as cost, equipment, transportation, and geography, FUN ensures youth, especially in rural areas, have access to fresh air, healthy challenge, and adults who believe in what they are capable of becoming.
