Mission

THE HEALTHY AIR ALLIANCE (HAA) IS COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING AND ADVOCATING FOR WAYS WE CAN IMMEDIATELY REDUCE AIR POLLUTION. WE WILL LEAD DISCUSSIONS ABOUT ACTIONABLE SOLUTIONS AND CLEANER FUELS THAT WILL IMMEDIATELY LOWER HARMFUL EMISSIONS. CONSEQUENTLY, HAA SETS OUT TO BUILD A COALITION OF LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND COMMUNITIES THAT AGREE THAT IMPROVING OUR AIR QUALITY IS NOT JUST ABOUT ELECTRIFICATION OF TRANSIT AND INDIVIDUAL VEHICLES, BUT ALSO ABOUT EARTH-FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVES TO FOSSIL FUELS THAT CAN HAVE AN IMMEDIATE IMPACT TO REDUCE EMISSIONS, INCLUDING EARTH-FRIENDLY FUELS, BUILDING SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES, WHERE WALKING, BICYCLING, AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION ARE AFFORDABLE FOR ALL, IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY, PERFORMANCE AND AFFORDABILITY OF LOW-CARBON TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS AND INVESTING IN RESILIENT INFRASTRUCTURE TO PROTECT VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES FROM THE IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE.
