Mompreneurs:The program delivered approximately 112 hours of instruction combining weekly virtual business classes and in-person wellness sessions in Washington, DC and Montgomery County. Certified nannies provided on-site childcare, supporting an average of eight children per session. In addition to the instructors, 24 volunteer mentors provided guidance and support throughout the program. The program served 50 students, awarded $15k in seed funding and resulted in nine new businesses registered in DC and Montgomery County. The program concluded with a graduation ceremony celebrating participant achievements and community support.
