Mankato Youth Place is a free program for school age kids in the out of school hours. It is a program-based organization offering academic, arts, physical activity and health/wellness opportunities. During the school year, transportation is provided from school. In addition to programming, meals are provided along with items such as clothing and toiletries on self-serve as needed basis. During 2023 a new building location for Mankato Youth Place was purchased and renovated. A gym addition was also in process in 2023 and completed in 2024.
