Regular Classes and Ensembles: Compass Arts ensembles, classes, camps and workshops in 2024 brought several hundred sessions of art-based experiences to the surrounding community. In addition, our music and theater ensembles produced process-oriented works that were conceived of, and created by students and brought arts exposure to the community in the form of multiple performances and showcases that specifically focused on the process of creativity itself. Classes served all ages but mostly children and teens. Many free or sliding scale priced spots in our regular programs were provided to local residents.

Community Activities: Compass Arts produced regular free activities at the local farmers' markets and local festival events that integrated artists from the local area with audience participation, craft tables and science-based arts activities. Several sessions of our Teen Hangs program offered instructional games and arts experiences to area youth at reduced or no cost.

Arts Education Outreach: Compass Arts created and delivered an outreach program for a local Head Start organization and provided full-year tailored arts programming to area schools in the form of after school theatre and arts programs at school campus locations. The Head Start program was funded by donors to Compass Arts and the after school programs were funded by grants made available to area schools.
