In 2025, beyond our normal responsibilities of trash, graffiti, and security, we began to focus on collections for late assessments from our rate-payers and started work on an amendment to our ordinance to allow for a mechanism to adjust our assessments to keep pace with inflation. We also pushed to get out of COVID-era silos and forged strong relationships with other related community groups, including GSBA Capitol Hill, 15th Avenue East BIA, and the stakeholders working to create a Pike/Pine BIA. In addition, we continued to support Capitol Hills largest event, PrideFest Capitol Hill, to bring tens of thousands of people to Broadway over Pride weekend.
