WE HAVE A SHARED VISION FOR THE EQUAL AND EQUITABLE PARTICIPATION AND REPRESENTATION OF HISTORICALLY MARGINALIZED AND UNDERREPRESENTED POPULATIONS IN TENNESSEE. WE BELIEVE THAT CENTERING THE LEADERSHIP, EXPERIENCES, VOICES, AND VOTES OF BLACK PEOPLE, INDIGENOUS PEOPLE, LATINX PEOPLE, AAPI PEOPLE, AND OTHER PEOPLE OF COLOR (BIPOC), WOMEN, LOW-INCOME AND POOR PEOPLE, LGBTQIA PEOPLE, PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, AND YOUNG PEOPLE ARE REQUIRED FOR SHAPING STATE POLICY AND ELECTING LEADERS WHO AFFECT THEIR LIVES.
