2025 was a truly special year for No More Under, filled with energy, growth, and hundreds of confident, smiling swimmers. We are not just teaching swim skills. We are teaching life-saving skills. In 2025, we supported nearly 800 swimmers, over 4,000 lessons, engaged over 200 volunteers, and held programs in three states and 16 locations. We continue to intentionally engage families throughout our programs, ensuring that parents and caregivers leave with practical water safety knowledge and tools they can use every day. No More Under was not just busy with lessons, but also in research related to water safety and drowning prevention. In partnership with the Oregon Social Learning Center (OSLC), we conducted a Washington state study to better understand willingness and barriers to water safety education through schools; the findings were published in Injury Prevention (BMJ). Our Swim Safely Series was featured in the International Journal of Aquatic Research and Education. Co-authored by No More Under team members, the paper positions the program as an innovative, equity-centered model addressing childhood drowning and racial disparities in aquatic access. No More Under is also happy to share that we are partnering with the CDC Foundation to formally evaluate the effectiveness of the Swim Safely Series, measuring both safety outcomes and community impact.
