2024 ORGANIZING HIGHLIGHTS: BLACK MATERNAL HEALTH WEEK: AS A SPONSOR AND PARTNER, WE FUNDED STROLLERS AND TABLED AT THE COMMUNITY BABY SHOWER. THIS EVENT ALLOWED US TO CONNECT WITH BIRTH WORKERS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS, DISTRIBUTING ESSENTIAL GOODS SUCH AS CONTRACEPTIVES AND MENSTRUAL SUPPLIES. CONSENTFEST: FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR, WE TABLED AT CONSENTFEST, ENGAGING WITH NEW POTENTIAL PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS. WE EXPANDED OUR TABLING ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING A POLITICAL EDUCATION GAME/RAFFLE AND DISTRIBUTING LUBE ALONGSIDE OTHER MATERIALS. WINTER SESSION SERIES: WE KICKED OFF THE YEAR WITH A FACILITATED CONVERSATION USING JUNE JORDAN'S WORK TO LINK LOCAL REPRODUCTIVE OPPRESSION TO GLOBAL STRUGGLES. BILLBOARD CAMPAIGN: WE LAUNCHED A SERIES OF PRO-ABORTION BILLBOARDS THROUGHOUT PHILADELPHIA, RAISING AWARENESS AND SPARKING IMPORTANT CONVERSATIONS ABOUT REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS. MATERIAL GOODS PARTNERSHIP WITH PROJECT SAFE: WE ARE TRANSITIONING FROM AD-HOC TABLING TO SUSTAINED DISTRIBUTION OF ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES, PARTNERING WITH PROJECT SAFE FOR BETTER OUTREACH. REGIONAL BUILDING: WE CONTINUED CONNECTING WITH NORTHEAST REGIONAL FUNDS AND ESTABLISHED NEW RELATIONSHIPS WITH FUNDS FURTHER DOWN THE EAST COAST. DOULA PROJECT: WE RECONFIGURED OUR DOULA PROJECT TO FOCUS ON SMALLER EXPANSIONS OF EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, SUCH AS THE 'PHONE A FRIEND' ZINE. ADDITIONALLY, WE PARTICIPATED IN THE INAUGURAL BLUEPRINT COHORT, RECEIVING TRAINING AND 20,000 IN GRANT FUNDING TO EXPAND OUR SUPPORT OFFERINGS. ALF-PA PROVIDES DIRECT SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS SEEKING ABORTION CARE, ENSURING THAT FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR LOGISTICAL BARRIERS NEVER STAND IN THE WAY OF BODILY AUTONOMY.
