Theatre Adventure provides a year round inclusive and caring theater arts program for youth and adults with a wide range of disabilities; including physical, emotional, cognitive, and developmental. We offer classes, rehearsals, and public performances for both our Youth Troupe and our Adult Troupe. We use acting, singing, dancing, movement percussion, puppetry, poetry, and story telling as means of artistic expression. We also provide leadership and job skills training with our Mentoring Program, which brings Adult Troupe actors to mentor Youth Troupe actors. We currently serve 42 individuals and their families. We strive for community engagement, bringing our actors out of the shadows and into the spotlight. To further this end, we also have a small Traveling Troupe that performs at area schools and events. All our classes and performances are hybrid, available to both actors and audience in person and online.
