Jeremie Rising organizes tuition sponsorships for K-12 eligible children whose parents struggle just to feed them in Haiti's depressed economy. In 2025, 220 children received such sponsorships, an 50-child increase from the prior year. Our ground team validates need and recommends candidates, verifies grade level and tuition cost, and makes payment direct to the schools. When a child fails, we are inclined to support repeating the grade once given the difficult circumstances in the country. The total cost also includes the provision of school uniforms and backpacks, and another 11 boys and girls enrolled in nursing or trade schools, or college programs.
