The Wetzel County Hospital Emergency Department provides acute care services for patients of all ages, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With a Level IV trauma center, adult and pediatric patients are seen for any cardiac, respiratory, trauma, or general medicine issues. The Emergency Department is staffed by board-certified physicians and highly-skilled nurses. All patients receive a medical evaluation performed by an emergency medicine physician, who orders any necessary lab or imaging testing to reach a diagnosis. We perform on-site lab and imaging testing, IV and respiratory therapy, invasive and non-invasive procedures, and provide infection control.
