THE 5TH EDITION OF ART FAIR 14C WAS AN EVENT THAT CONNECTED THE ARTS COMMUNITY WITH THE WIDER COMMUNITY, ALLOWING ARTISTS FROM THE REGION AND BEYOND TO HAVE THEIR WORK SEEN BY THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. FOR NEARLY HALF OF THE VISITORS TO THE FAIR, IT WAS THEIR FIRST TIME ATTENDING A FINE ART FAIR, AND ASIDE FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF SEEING ARTWORK OF ALL MEDIA, ART FAIR 14C PROVIDED TOURS THAT HELPED EXPAND THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF - AND APPRECIATION FOR ART. ASIDE FROM SPECIFIC ART GENRE TOURS, WE ALSO PROVIDED TOURS OF THE VISUAL ART FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED, AS WELL AS LOW SENSORY TOURS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NEURODIVERGENT OR CROWD SENSITIVE FOR OTHER REASONS.

TO FURTHER OUR GOAL TO STRENGTHEN AND SUPPORT THE VISUAL ARTS AND CAREERS IN THE VISUAL ARTS, THROUGH THE EXPANSION AND CREATION OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEW JERSEY ARTISTS, WE APPLIED AND SECURED A BOOTH AT AQUA MIAMI DURING MIAMI ARTWEEK. THIS GLOBAL LEADING ART EVENT DREW AN ESTIMATED 100,000 ATTENDEES TO MIAMI FROM 92 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. SHOWCASE 14C PRESENTED THE WORKS OF 24 DIFFERENT NEW JERSEY BASED ARTISTS TO THIS GLOBAL AUDIENCE. IN ADDITION TO GENERATING $18,390 WORTH OF ART SALES, SHOWCASE 14C MADE A NUMBER OF MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS WITH COLLECTORS OUTSIDE OUR NETWORK AND GROWING OUR DATABASE ON AN INTERNATIONAL SCALE.

THIS YEAR, 2023, MARKED THE 34TH YEAR OF ITS EXISTENCE AND THE FIRST YEAR UNDER THE PRODUCTION WING OF ART FAIR 14C. IN ADDITION TO THE 100+ OPEN ARTIST STUDIOS THAT PARTICIPATED, ART FAIR 14C WAS ABLE TO SECURE AN ADDITIONAL FOUR VENUES FOR GALLERY EXHIBITIONS INTENDED FOR LOCAL ARTISTS WITHOUT AN ACCESSIBLE STUDIO SPACE TO PRESENT THEIR WORK. ART FAIR 14C ALSO FACILITATED A JCAST SPECIFIC FUNDRAISER TO HELP COVER THE COSTS OF PRODUCING THE EVENT AS WELL AS ORGANIZED SITE SPECIFIC TOURS OF PUBLIC ART AND LGBTQ+ ART WITH FREE BUSES TRANSPORTING PARTICIPANTS FROM PLACE TO PLACE.
