The dog and cat shelter serves as a sanctuary for paralyzed, disfigured, blind, and abused animals. Each animal is spayed, neutered, vaccinated, and all attempts are made to rehabilitate. The animals receive care and treatment by a core group of daily staff and veterinarians. Dogs and cats are eventually flown to US, CAN or sometimes to EU for adoption. The bears in our care were rescued by poachers or from restaurants where they were kept in tiny cages for attractions. Almost all bears have been castrated and vaccinated and some are getting ready to fly abroad to sanctuaries.
