Acted as a ballot question committee under the Michigan Campaign Finance Act in support of the qualification and passage of a ballot question to initiate legislation to amend the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act, as described in Line 1 of this Part. This program service accomplishment included drafting and circulating an initiative petition to obtain signatures from registered Michigan voters in support of the legislation, and defending the petition and signatures gathered in front of the Board of State Canvassers, Bureau of Elections.
Engaged in litigation to defend validity of petition and signatures.
