Legal Link is a California-based non-profit organization working to expand the legal ecosystem by training and supporting a new frontline of community justice workers who help to remove legal barriers for families experiencing poverty. Using our Legal First Aid training curriculum, this network of community justice workers helps to surface unmet legal needs, identify legal issues, and access critical legal protections. Our network serves as the bridge between the communities most in need of legal services and the resources available to them. Each year we train hundreds of community partners in legal navigation, with over 90% of navigators reporting an increase in legal capability. We also provide hundreds of legal consults to justice workers and their clients, and present our model and learnings at convenings across the country. See www.legallink.org for more information.
