Launched Harold D Foster After-School reading, math and physical activity initiative with the four lowest sat scoring elementary and middle schools within the KCK School District. With the 30 students who attended we saw an increase of reading acumen of 7 and math acumen of 4. We also seen 1/3 of students lower their BMI index.

Our Sports progam had over 700 players and cheerleaders grades K-7th from KCK, KCMO and other surrounding counties participate for 2023. The chldren average 8 hours of physical activity during the week with 2 hours per game during the 9-week season. This program provides more hours for phsical actvity than guidelines suggested by Healthy Schools.
