Programming that provides a creative after school learning environment to work alongside young people to explore BIPOC history, develop new skills, and build confidence in themsleves through the use of art. Participants delve into the histiographies of how Black and Brown narratives have been shaped and how they are recorded and remembered in the U.S. The youth are equipped with various mediums and storytelling tools to develop their own narratives about themselves, their family and community. In addition, youth are equipped with the tools to create and contribute to a community archive. Youth develop critical conversation around archives and the archiving process and develop an accessible catalogue for the larger community.
