In partnership with the California Foster Youth Initiative AmeriCorps Program, C.A.R.E Service Specialists (CSS) and Fostering UNITY staff provide child-centered family-strengthening education and support, resource navigation through community partnerships, and mentoring services. All fostering UNITY services are available to relative and non-relative foster parents, adoptive families, reunifying biological families, children and youth in out-of-home placement, and Transition Age Youth in foster care. This program is free and furthers our mission to improve outcomes for children in foster care.
