It is estimated that only one-third of all raptors taken into a facility will be released back into the wild. Our facility has provided medical care, rehabilitation, and a successful release for eight of the eleven raptors taken in this year. Two are still under our care. Our facility maintains approximately two raptors in care at all times and the average stay for a patient is two months. Providing care for raptors is a daily task. We provide medical care for new arrivals and daily medical treatment for patients already in care. Food and daily exercise are provided every day.
