The club show raises money to fund scholarships for college students in their studies of Geology, monies for internships at the Florissant Fossils Beds state park and a gift for the local operational costs for a local nonprofit mining museum
The society also receives dues to fund meeting hall expenses and other miscellaneous fees to aid in educating members and other public outreach services
