CHILDRENS ADVOCACY CENTER PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE ALLEGED VICTIMS OF SEXUAL AND/OR SEVERE PHYSICAL ABUSE IN A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO INVESTIGATION. SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE FORENSIC INTERVIEWS, THERAPY AND ASSESSMENTS, FAMILY ADVOCACY, AND CASE COORDINATION. THE MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAM INCLUDES LAW ENFORCEMENT, CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES, PROSECUTION, MEDICAL, AND MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS WHO WORK JOINTLY ON THESE CHILD ABUSE CASES. OVER 425 CHILDREN SERVED; HELD 273 FORENSIC INTERVIEWS IN SAN JUAN AND MCKINLEY COUNTIES; PROVIDED 1,001 THERAPY AND ASSESSMENT SESSIONS.
