Each year a National Specialty is held in different geographic regions of the country. Belgian Tervuren owners bring their purebred dogs to these events to show in conformation and performance events. The goal of the conformation and performance events is to determine best breeding stock to contribute and improve next generation of this purebred dog. An annual meeting of all attending members is also held, as well as educational seminars.
