BETHANY COMMUNITY SCHOOL STUDENTS PROGRESS THROUGH CLASS LEVELS ACCORDING TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEARNING READINESS. AS THE TIME TO MOVE TO THE NEXT CLASS NEARS, TEACHERS SCHEDULE ASSESSMENTS AND INTERVENTIONS FOR ANY CHILD WHO HAS NOT YET DEVELOPED THE ACADEMIC, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL SKILLS TO PROGRESS. THIS ALLOWS ALL CHILDREN THE OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE THE SKILL SETS THEY NEED TO MOVE UP WITH THEIR CLASS. CLASSES START AT 9 A.M. AND END AT 2:30 P.M. AND FOLLOW OKLAHOMA'S SCHOOL YEAR SCHEDULE. INDEPENDENT BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED AT BETHANY THROUGH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS THAT COMPLEMENT THE SCHOOL'S MISSION TO SERVE FAMILIES. IN FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024, BETHANY COMMUNITY SCHOOL EXTENDED ITS CLASS OFFERINGS TO 1ST GRADE WITH IT'S KINDERGARTEN/1ST GRADE PROGRAM. THE STUDENTS RECEIVED SIGNIFICANT INDIVIDUALIZED INSTRUCTION WITH A CERTIFIED TEACHER. BETHANY COMMUNITY SCHOOL PLANS TO EXTEND TO 3RD GRADE OVER THE NEXT TWO YEARS. OUR TOTAL ENROLLMENT FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR WAS APPROXIMATELY 105 CHILDREN ENROLLED IN THE 2023-2024 FISCAL YEAR. ALL EXPENSES INCURRED BY BETHANY COMMUNITY SCHOOL ARE ALLOCATED TO THE PRESCHOOL AND K-1 PROGRAM INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: PAYROLL, ADMIN, SUPPLIES, CONTINUING EDUCATION, CURRICULUM, PROPERTY, ETC. PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS 2023-2024* 100% TEACHER RETENTION* ADDED 1ST GRADE * INCREASED SECURITY MEASURES IMPLEMENTED* PARKING LOT RESURFACED* NEW FLOORING THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING* SEEKING ACCREDITATION FOR LOWER ELEMENTARY PROGRAM
