Mission

PURPOSE STATEMENT AYUDA WORLD IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON HELPING FAMILIES ESCAPE THE VICIOUS POVERTY CYCLE THROUGH EMPOWERING WOMEN WHO LEAD THEIR FAMILIES AND EDUCATING CHILDREN, PRIMARILY FOCUSED IN RURAL GUATEMALA. WE FOCUS ON SINGLE-PARENT FAMILIES WHERE A MOTHER IS SINGULARLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RAISING OF CHILDREN. OUR MISSION IS ACHIEVED BY FOLLOWING A SIMPLE, TWO-FOLD PROCESS: 1. EMPOWERING HEAD-OF-HOUSEHOLD WOMEN THROUGH HOUSING AND MONETARY ALLOWANCE, AND 2. INCENTIVIZING CHILDHOOD EDUCATION OUR CURRENT FOCUS IS ON IMPOVERISHED FAMILIES IN THE RURAL REGION OF SOLOLA, GUATEMALA, WHERE WE PROVIDE FINANCIAL ALLOWANCES MONTHLY TO COVER THE BASIC NEEDS OF A FAMILY IN EXCHANGE FOR A MOTHER ENROLLING HER CHILDREN IN SCHOOL. THIS EMPOWERS CHILDREN THROUGH EDUCATION, AND PROVIDES MOTHERS WITH SUFFICIENT ASSISTANCE TO ALLOW THEM TO FOCUS ON GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT, SELF SUFFICIENCY, AND THE CARING FOR AND RAISING OF THEIR CHILDREN.
