THE HEALTH ENGAGEMENT LEADING TO PREVENTION 2 DAY PROGRAM (HELP2DAY)IS FOCUSED ON PROMOTING ECONOMIC MOBILITY FOR DISADVANTAGE WORKERS BY PROVIDING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND ADDRESSING IMMEDIATE HEALTH NEEDS BUT ALSO CONTRIBUTES TO THE LONG-TERM ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL WELL-BEING OF THE COMMUNITIES IT SERVES. THE PROGRAM PAYS A LIVING WAGE FOR CONTRACTED COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS. THE 2025 FUNDING ENABLED THE PROGRAM TO SERVE THREE COUNTIES, TRAIN SIX COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS, AND MAINTAIN TWO FULL-TIME STAFF. IMPACT: ECONOMIC MOBILITY BY BUILDING CAREER PATHWAYS BY HIRING CHWS FROM THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE DEEPLY CONNECTED TO THE AREAS THEY SERVE, WHICH STRENGTHENS COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIOPS AND FOSTERS TRUST. PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH SERVICES. COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS SUPPORT EDUCATION AND PROVIDE RESOURCES. TWO OTHER PROGRAMS ARE HEALTH EQUITY NETWORK AND WHOLE HEALTH ACROSS TIME TO SUPPLEMENT ADDITIONIAL HEALTH AWARENESS AND INVOLVEMENT.
