On November 17th, 2023, the fourth annual Serbian Philanthropic Gala was held in New Yorks iconic Cipriani in the heart of Manhattan. At the Gala, the Serbian Philanthropic Association recognized and supported individuals and organizations in Serbia and the diaspora whose charitable work has advanced the spirit of philanthropy. Through generous donations and a charitable auction, the Gala raised $105,316 that will assist BELhospice, the first specialized charity organization in Serbia that provides palliative care to cancer patients during the last phase of their illness, and Novak Djokovic Foundation (NDF)for their Feel to Heal program which helps children aged 3-6 to begin to master recognition, naming, and emotion management skills necessary for their lifelong well-being.
