OUR WORK STRENGTHENS COMMUNITIES BY BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER AT FREE COMMUNITY ARTS AND CULTURAL EVENTS; OFFERING YOUTH INTERNSHIPS; PROVIDING RESOURCES; AND CONNECTING PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONS. SEATTLE PRIDES YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS ENCOMPASS A RANGE OF EVENTS TO EDUCATE SUPPORT AND CELEBRATE THE DIVERSE IDENTITIES WITHIN THE LGBTQIA2S+ COMMUNITY. IN ADDITION TO HOSTING ONE OF THE LARGEST PRIDE PARADES IN THE COUNTRY SEATTLE PRIDE ENGAGES IN YEAR-ROUND ARTS AND CULTURE PROGRAMMING AND PROVIDES DIRECT GRANT SUPPORT TO SEATTLE-AREA NONPROFITS. INTERNSHIPS AND EDUCATION: SEATTLE PRIDE RUNS YOUTH INTERNSHIPS TO CULTIVATE SUCCESS MODELS FOR QUEER YOUTH. GRANTS AND LEADERSHIP SUPPORT: WE PROVIDE GRANT SUPPORT AND VISIBILITY TO SMALL NONPROFITS HELPING THEM SUCCEED IN THEIR DIRECT SERVICE WORK. IN ADDITION WE RUN A COALITION OF LGBTQIA2S+ LEADERS WHO CONNECT REGULARLY TO DISCUSS ISSUES IMPORTANT TO THE LGBTQIA2S+ COMMUNITY.
