In December 2020, we executed our first annual Holiday gift donation to children who are incarcerated at Shuman Juvenile Detention Center (operated by Allegheny County, PA). This gift, which consisted of providing Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and a printed greeting, was made in Wayne Alexander's memory. Mr. Alexander spent a career as a correction officer at the former Youth Development Center (YDC) New Castle (a juvenile correctional facility operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania). He provided the children under his care with compassion, dignity, and respect. Our goal is to expand this Holiday gift to all facilities that incarcerate juveniles in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

We have provided after-school financial literacy courses and entrepreneurship mentoring for budding teen business leaders. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all sessions were executed via the Zoom meeting platform. This, and the fact that Pride Project Incorporated's CEO & Board President facilitated the prior mentioned courses and mentoring meetings, resulted in no costs being incurred to execute the programming. This will change in 2021 with the end of the COVID-19 pandemic as we will be allocating facility costs and stationary to the prior mentioned program offerings. It should be noted that Robert A. Howard II (Pride Project Incorporated's CEO & Board President) is a licensed secondary education teacher in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
