Entrepreneurship & Market Access - (Columbia City Night Market and RootedGrowth Accelerator)Peace Peloton advances economic equity by providing emerging entrepreneursespecially those with Black ownershipaccess to markets, customers, and capital. In 2024, the Columbia City Night Market hosted 12 events, attracting over 12,000 visitors and featuring 523 vendor appearances by 232 small businesses. Approximately 47% of vendors returned for multiple markets, and 124 used the event as their first-ever sales channel. Estimated vendor sales totaled $220,000$375,000.The RootedGrowth Accelerator graduated its second cohort of five entrepreneurs who completed eight modules covering operations, marketing, and finance. To date, 17 businesses have graduated, with 15 selling in PCC Community Markets and 12 expanding into additional outlets. In 2024, participants sold 42,000 units, earned $385,000 in revenue, and established 27 new retail partnerships. Together, these programs strengthen local economies by helping new founders gain skills, visibility, and sustainable revenue streams.

Community Engagement & Economic Mobility - (Fresh Air Rides and Summit 2 Sound)Peace Peloton transforms recreation into a tool for economic mobility and social connection. The Fresh Air Ride Series hosted five inclusive cycling events in 2024 with over 600 participants riding 7,200 miles. Each ride featured and supported seven Black-owned businesses, generating approximately $18,000 in direct vendor and retail revenue.The organization's signature endurance event, Summit 2 Sound, spanned 81 miles from Snoqualmie Summit to Seattle's waterfront, engaging 200 participants and raising $30,000 in registration revenue reinvested into community programs. These events build awareness and customer bases for local entrepreneurs while promoting physical health and collective economic action. Peace Peloton demonstrates that movement and commerce can work together to build stronger, more connected neighborhoods.
