In 2024, LFP achieved numerous program accomplishments. We held our intensive training program, Library Freedom Institute, for six months and with 35 participants. We hosted LFP Camp, our biannual conference for LFP members. We developed our strategic plan and adopted a new membership policy. We formed two new member-driven committees, one focused on AI, and the other on higher ed. We created new resources for intellectual freedom, data protection, and avoiding scams and fraud, and translated many existed resources into Spanish. We hosted new trainings, including a summer webinar series focused on free speech in libraries, and also offered our monthly online book club. We presented at conferences like ALA, ABOS, ARSL, and HOPE. Finally, we closed the year hosting independent publishers and librarians at a Book Buzz event in NYC.
