Eden Streets empowers communities to grow food, jobs, connections, and hope through farming. Its flagship initiative, the Grow Ogden job training program, transitionally employs individuals facing homelessness, preparing them for stable employment through hands-on-work at an urban farm in Ogden, Utah. Over 16 weeks, trainees gain job skills, mentorship, and community connection while growing produce donated to local food relief organizations. In its first two sessions, Grow Ogden has relaunched 8 individuals on pathways to employment and stability. To expand this impact nationally, Eden Streets also serves as a knowledge hub for more than 30 farms and nonprofits committed to farming with a social mission. Through webinars, blogs, newsletters, and peer to peer education, Eden Streets shares best practices, builds relationships, and supports farms tackling homelessness, food insecurity, and social isolation in over 150 communities across the US and Canada.
