Program Description: The safe summer kickoff events serve nearly 3,000 students and family members in need across the Denver metro area in advance of the summer break taking place. Iron Sharp hosts an event for the communities in need across Aurora and then a second event for the high need family members and student communities in Denver. These events feature food trucks, health and safety resources, special giveaways, family fun and youth activities, public safety and educational resources, drug and crime prevention resources, employment resources, summer camp information, and also access to direct services for families in need over the summer months and throughout the year.

Program Description: The back to school heart reach events serve homeless and high need students and family members across the Denver metro area. Throughout this effort iron sharp facilitates multiple outreach events to serve the student communities of Denver, Aurora, Cherry Creek, Littleton, Englewood, Douglas county, Jefferson county, and other local school districts. At these events Iron Sharp provides high need families with backpacks, school supplies, food, health and hygiene care kits, non perishable food items, dental supplies, free haircuts, raffles and giveaways. Furthermore, at these events, Iron Sharp brings together community partners to connect families in need with direct services that address financial literacy, food insecurity, employment and accessible housing information. These events are intended to enrich the quality of life for families in need.

Program Description: BlessFest weekend is a community outreach effort intended to serve some of the highest need youth and family populations across the Denver metro area and connect them with essential services and ministry resources from across the city. The outreach weekend featured an all day outreach Park festival event for families to enjoy that included food trucks, community and ministry resources from non-profit organizations and faith-based organizations, hope filled messages during the day, raffles and giveaways, as well as an uplifting positive hip hop concert. The weekend also featured a second fellowship outreach for families in the park followed by a night of positive uplifting hip hop and ministry for communities in need across the Denver metro area. Over the course of Bless Fest weekend Iron Sharp served approximately 2,000 community members that spanned across the Denver metro area and the greater front range of Colorado.
