A 2021 BILL MELINDA GATES FOUNDATION BALANCE THE EQUATION CHALLENGEGRANTEE AND AWARDED A 1M ONE-TIME AWARD TO PILOT OUR MATH ACADEMIC MENTORSHIP PROGRAM SERVICES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE STATE OF DELAWARES COLONIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT. IN 2021, WE SUPPORTED AROUND 88 MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS WITHIN DELAWARES GATES PROGRAM AND ACHIEVED AN ESTIMATED AVERAGE GROWITH OF 82 IN ALGEBRA 1 COURSE MASTERY FOR STUDENTS WHO ATTENDED THEFULL ACADEMIC YEAR. WE EMPLOYED AN ESTIMATED 45 UNIVERSITY STUDENTS THROUGH OUR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FOCUS TO SUPPORT BOTH OUR MATH AND WELLESS MENTORSHIP SERVICES. OUR GATES PILOT PROGRAM WAS EFFECTIVE AUGUST 2021 AND CONCLUDED IN AUGUST 2022.
