The Early Care and Education Association (ECEA) expanded its impact on the early childhood workforce through recruitment, education, and professional development initiatives. ECEA made over 500 points of contact through online recruiting and community outreach to promote careers in early childhood education. The Workforce Building Program made an additional 100 points of contact, graduated 10 participants, and supported them in earning a total of 66 college credits. Through our Professional Development Program, more than 50 directors and providers attended national conferences to strengthen leadership and program quality. Thirty-five participants enrolled in the CDA for Success program, and over 2,500 ProSolutions courses were completed, demonstrating a strong commitment to continued learning. To support health and safety in early learning environments, ECEA trained 42 child care providers in CPR and First Aid. These efforts reflect ECEA's ongoing commitment to strengthening the early childhood workforce and improving the quality of care for children and families.
