This was the continuation of our first year of our non-profit and it was spent re-purposing an existing building to accomodate the functions and mission of the cultural center. We became a non-profit in September of 2020 and the remaining months of that year and 2021 were spent in obtaining permits for repurposing, demolition of existing non-usable spaces in the building, painting and creating a website and promotional materials to use in our fundraising efforts in the following calendar year. We also established a small cafe to provide Italian coffees and desserts to the public so that they could experience authentic Italian culture.
