In 2025 Sunrise Service Dogs strengthened its client education graduate support volunteer training and community outreach programs. SSD provided guidance to clients student handlers puppy raisers volunteers families and community partners on handler responsibility public access expectations service dog etiquette canine welfare and the long-term support needed for successful working partnerships. SSD also continued community education through outreach with businesses donors breeders trainers veterinary providers and local organizations. These efforts helped build a more informed and supportive community around ethical service dog practices and the independence achieved through well supported service dog teams.
