Develop Free, Publicly Available Opensource Tools: Casual Simulation Inc. maintains, contributes resources towards, and actively develops opensource technology that is both publicly accessible and useful in improving people's capabilities in accordance with Casual Simulation's mission of advancing practice for all. This includes but is not limited to CasualOS, an opensource, MIT license web-based simulation and practice tool publicly available online at https://github.com/casual-simulation/casualos#readme. CasualOS is a full Integrated Development Environment ("IDE") able to be used to create web-based applications. By maintaining CasualOS as an entirely free, opensource, public good students, educators, and the public can use CasualOS to create, own, and leverage automation in education, productivity, and play. Today CasualOS is used in schools and the Kent Career Technical Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan to practice computational literacy skills. Publicly maintained resources include documentation, learning modules, and tools designed to promote computational literacy understanding and practice free of charge. CasualOS allows students to build or modify web-based experiences that work across all web-enabled hardware and services including low-cost, older devices (such as years-old Android smartphones, Amazon Fire tablets, Chromebooks, and more). Such experiences are able to be developed or used in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and across multiple devices or services simultaneously in realtime.

Educational Resources: Providing all with educational resources is a significant way Casual Simulation can help people practice in pursuit of bettering themselves and others. Thus Casual Simulation Inc. develops educational resources to enable all to improve their capabilities by harnessing technology. A significant part of this effort for Casual Simulation is to train the trainers of the most concentrated amount of practice time available to all people -public education. By helping teachers practice we enable them to help children to practice.
