Houson Charities Program Golden Butterfly Bakers mission is to love on the least, the lost and the marginalized via the gift of quality baked goods to remind them that they are not forgotten. Golden Butterfly Bakers stands alone as the only non-profit organization in the Greater Houston area solely dedicated to providing baked goods to homeless and recovery organizations, and human trafficking and youth rescue facilities to foster hope and emotional healing. In 2025, we donated over 320,000 baked goods to our 14 Houston area recipients helping to bring a little taste of goodness to thousands of less fortunate Houstonians. The Kairos prison ministry is a Christian faith-based ministry which addresses the spiritual needs of incarcerated men, women, youth, and their families. By sharing the love and forgiveness of Jesus Chris Kairos hopes to change hearts, transform lives and impact the world. Golden Butterfly Bakers is blessed to provide table and forgiveness cookies for eight Kairos weekends in Texas. The weekends occur in the Spring and Fall. Each Kairos weekend receives between 180 & 300 dozen assorted cooki. The table cookies are available to the men in white and stewards used throughout the weekend to enjoy whenever there in the meeting room. The forgiveness cookies are bagged with a dozen cookies per bag.

Baked Goods Sales This program includes the revenue generated via the sale of baked good to St. John the Divine, Episcopal Church (Houston, Tx), and other entities and inviduals. Cookies are provided to St. John the Divine each Sunday. Other baked goods sales are provided on an as requested basis. The Proceeds from the baked goods sales are transferred to the Houston Charities program as fundraising revenue.
