Mayors Office of Housing & Community Development (MOHCD) Operations GrantWith the support of MOHCDs Operations Grant, the Organization continued advancing the CHHESS Report, a cultural legacy document and strategic plan that provides guidance for achieving cultural stabilization. This grant was critical in supporting the Organizations role as one of San Franciscos Cultural Districts. In 2024, it helped strengthen operational capacity and supported cultural programming, including planning major community celebrations that uplifted Black culture and history, while also sustaining local Black-owned businesses and vendors.Mayors Office of Housing & Community Development (MOHCD) CapacityBuilding GrantThe MOHCD Capacity Building Grant provided resources for strengthening internal infrastructure and leadership. The Organization advanced the development of a Board Action Plan, Fundraising Action Plan, and Employee Handbook. Capacity-building support also funded leadership workshops and staff development sessions, preparing the Organization for long-term sustainability. In 2024, planning continued for a Board Planning Workshop to expand Board leadership and engagement.San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) Bayview ShuttleProgramThrough the SFMTA Bayview Shuttle Program, the Organization engaged community members in shaping the shuttle service. In 2024, outreach efforts included tabling at community events and conducting surveys to better understand local transportation needs. These surveys informed service improvements designed to increase mobility for Bayview residents, particularly within the 94124 zip code. The program continues to serve as a vital resource connecting residents to jobs, education, and essential services.San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) MultimodalGrantIn 2024, the Organization also benefited from SFMTAs Multimodal Grant. This fundingsupported initiatives that expand safe, accessible, and affordable transportation options in Bayview. The grant enabled efforts to increase community participation in transportation planning, improve pedestrian and bike safety, and strengthen connections between existing shuttle services and other transit modes. These improvements align with broader citywide equity goals, ensuring Bayview residents have reliable, multimodal transportation choices.
