The grant supported vocational training, resume building, advanced job searches, interview skill building, interviewing techniques and etiquette, follow-up. Outreach was done to create a network of potential employers who are willing to hire individuals in recovery. Nearly 250 individuals have received support and long-term employment opportunities from this program to date while working on all aspects of maintaining sobriety from drugs and alcohol.

Aetna Mothers Nest Grant was awarded to strenghten Aspires current recovery residence by including high risk mothers in recovery and their children. While residing at the residence, all family members receive support, coaching, family resources, employment and daycare assistance. The goal is to decrease recidivism and stop cycles of substance use disorder from generational impacts. The program is just beginning with two mothers being admitted into the program.
