LASC paid for the busses to transport the students to Pajarito Mountain Ski Area. Additionally, LASC provided five $100 scholarships to underprivileged students so that they could participate in the program. There are many children in the surrounding area who have never skied or snowboarded before, and through funding the busses and scholarships, LASC was able to promote these fun activities to all children in the region.

Summerfest is a festival in the summer to gather outdoor enthusiasts and have a fun day filled with hiking and mountain biking at Pajarito Mountain Ski Area. There was a downhill mountain bike race at Summerfest, and LASC purchased the prizes for this event. Many bikers are also skiers and snowboarders, and this event helps bring people together to celebrate outdoor recreation at Pajarito.

Ullrfest is a festival in the fall to bring together skiers and snowboarders and celebrate the upcoming winter. Similar to Summerfest, there was a downhill mountain bike race at Pajarito Mountain Ski Area, and LASC purchased the prizes for the race winners. The downhill mountain bike race helped bring people to Ullrfest, and everyone was able to get excited about the upcoming ski season.
