Post Operations - Operates and maintains post building to house and provide social and recreational activities for our 900+ veteran members and to perform American Legion administrative activities. This service program provides a Cantina, meeting hall, kitchen facility, office space, and storage facilities for the restricted use of our veteran members and their bonafide guests. This facility opens daily (including weekends and holidays) to allow veterans to come for morning coffee, enjoy lunch, or socialize in the evenings. The meeting hall hosts member and American Legion events. Examples include Post Everlasting, Four Chaplains Ceremony, USS Arizona remembrance, holiday ceremonies (e.g. 4th of July, Memorial Day, etc.) as well as member birthday parties, weddings, memorial services, holiday parties, and special events. The hall is also available at no charge to local government, charity, active military organizations and the American Legion Auxiliary for meetings.
